Cost-Share Program

The Middle St. Croix Watershed Management Organization, MSCWMO offers small cost-share grants to residents living within the MSCWMO. Typically, the Watershed Management Organization (WMO) provides a range of grants and cost share programs from $250 to $1,000, depending on project scale. Most funded projects include lakeshore plantings, raingarden installation, habitat restoration, or agricultural water quality improvement projects.

The MSCWMO partners with the Washington Conservation District for design and installation assistance. Project design proposals are reviewed by the MSCWMO board of managers and qualifying projects are funded first come first serve. To see projects that have already been completed in the MSCWMO, and throughout Washington County, please visit our project map.
